Description
We are selling this pair of very well painted decorative plates. This pair of plates comes from a larger set we are selling. They are of extremely high quality of grisaille pallette painting featuring one scene with a turtle eating bugs, possibly a galapagos tortoise or somewhere tropical with palm trees. The other features a rabbit hiding among some plants looking at bugs, possibly a fable. Both plates have pink border and gilding, probably French Limoges.
Condition: Good antique condition. Some light surface wear including to the gilding on the borders.
