Late 19th Century Black Forest Jewelry Box

Description

Deeply carved Black Forest box opens to allow six drawers to swing open, three on each side, and a large bottom cavity to hold all your most precious jewels. Each drawer is lined with navy blue velvet. Central arm slides down, once all drawers are closed, to hold it all in place. Two large doves are carved on the top. Heavily embellished on both sides and front. No key.
