Late 19th Century Italian Grand Tour Bronze Dragon Candlestick Holder

Description

We are selling this cool Italian grand tour bronze candlestick. This candlestick features an early renaissance style dragon figure with long neck and heavily detailed hairy body supporting a single candlestick holder. The bronze is mounted on a green marble base and the bronze has been covered in a black lacquer. We believe the bronze to be a 19th century Grand Tour reproduction of an early bronze.

Condition: Good. There is a natural flaw in the marble base that looks like a crack.
