A pair of freehand, folk art, vintage 1960s MCM bohemian embroideries. This groovy pair of folk art embroideries are framed in matching bright yellow painted wooden frames with gold trim. There is no glass or plastic barrier covering the embroideries in the frames. Frames each measure 7.75 by 5.75 inches & sit less than .5 of an inch out from the wall when hanging. This art is unique but also very much in the spirit of the age. Flowers & funghi are the subject matter captured in stitches in this OOAK pair of vintage embroideries. The back, when removed allows an unobserved view of the rear sides of the embroideries, neither of which appears to have followed any formal pattern, neither commercially printed nor mapped out by the craftsperson who made them.
