Description
H&Co, Heinrich & Co., Selb, Bavaria, Germany, circa 1930-1939. (Source: Marks on German, Bohemian, and Austrian Porcelain, by Rontgen, page 156). Though not marked Pickard, it appears these plates were most likely decorated by the Pickard Studios in Chicago. The plates feature a floral center surrounded by green and floral band as well as gold encrusted band.
Pickard was famous for its elegant AOG (all-over-gold) etched gold encrusted patterns. The design on the outer rim of these plates is the well-known rose and daisy pattern by Pickard.
