Cast in brass with the Prince of Wales Feathers issuing from a crown flanked
on ribbons with the motto ICH DIEN, meaning "I Serve". It is mounted on moulded backing, likely made of bakelite. It is possible that this plaque originally was on the battleship H.M.S. Prince of
Wales.
