Listing is for a very fine needlepoint pillow that depicts a flowering cachepot on green background. Stitched mostly in the petit point stitch with the exception of the gros point stitches in the cachepot, it truly is a work of art and that of a true master.

With regards to age, I think it's possible the canvas is antique and was reworked as there are subtle variations or tonal differences in the green.

The pillow is finished with a mustard yellow velvet with a wonderful wool braided trim that brings the whole piece together. The pillow is sewn shut with down insert that is quite full.
