Early 20th Century Limoges Egg Shape Box

Description

This charming artist signed Limoges box has been made in the form of an egg and sports a hand painted gold ear of rye motif. The exterior is a robin's egg white color. The box is finished with antiqued gold metal trim bearing an embossed pattern and also has an antiqued metal rosette latch at the center. The lid lifts to reveal a white interior. The bottom has the signature, see photo.
