My grandmother was an avid collector. My mother told me that in the 1950s my grandmother had this birdcage shipped from Harrods in London, to her residence in New York City's upper West side. I eventually acquired it and now I'm offering it on my site. It is 19th Century French gabled pine wood and metal bird cage. It has 4 distinctive architectural levels, toped of with a round cupola. The first level has steps that lead up to a door that opens to feed a real bird if that is what you desire. Or it can be used as decoration within a specific setting of your choice.
