This rare and captivating decorative plate was produced in the 1920s or 1930s by San Zeno, a small artisan pottery studio located near the Basilica of San Zeno in Pisa, Italy. Featuring rich hand-painted blue, green, and ochre tones with a central sunburst. The back has the hand painted logo of a stylized medieval merchant ship-a nod to Pisa's historic role as a major port city-this piece is both beautiful and historically meaningful. A stunning example of European ceramic craftsmanship, this vintage find brings heritage, color, and character to any wall or tabletop display.
