Zollanvari's Home Decor Collection of mafrash coffers is designed to be used as stools, tables and chests. The literal meaning of the word mafrash is sheet or table cloth and the root of the word signifies to spread, to cover, or to furnish.

Mafrash have been made in the largest numbers by Shahsevan tribal people and other groups in NW Iran and across the border in Azerbaijan. This red wool Mafrash Home Decor object, bench, coffee table was created from an antique cabel cargo bag, woven by Irianian Ghashgha'i nomads.

The form of the Home Decor mafrash coffer is created from hard foam plastic, which makes it very lightweight.
