This vintage world class globe is by the renown globe maker Replogle There are no tears or rips on this authentic Replogle rotating globe that is encased in iron which allows the globe to rotate so one can identify various markings on this authentic piece of vintage history. It shows shipping routes nautical miles/meters of that time and space. All the oceans rivers and many identifying aspects of the world are mapped out.. The globe and all the design is created by Cartographer Roy M. Talon. created in the early 70s it is in very good vintage condition. What any school age person tracks all the miles etc. it will be interesting to see how the modern world has changed. I found this globe in a display window at Little Paris Antiques in the early 2000s.
