Pair of Mid-19th Century Cast Iron Boot Scrapers - Lion & Unicorn by John Crowley & Co., England. Attributed to the renowned Kelham Iron Works of Sheffield England, 1860. These recumbent figures represent the heraldic Lion of England and Unicorn of Scotland - Symbols of British sovereignty - rendered in a regal and sculptural form. The Lion is 26"L x 12"D x 13"H. The Unicorn is 24"L x 10"D x 16"H
