A rare and early Meissen porcelain reticulated basket, hand-painted in cobalt blue with applied florets at each lattice intersection. This example bears the coveted "dot mark" (used between 1765-1774), placing it firmly in the 18th century. Marked with underglaze blue crossed swords and dot, with no cancellation strokes, confirming first quality production.

The reticulated form with applied florets is among Meissen's most fragile and technically demanding works of the 18th century, making surviving examples highly sought after.
