This pattern was named after the art of repouss(C) (the process of embossing metal from the back by hammering), originally used in European silversmithing. The Repousse pattern, first crafted in 1828, features an intricate floral design along its entire stem and handle.
Impressive sterling silver Soup Ladle measuring 11" in the pattern Repousse by Kirk. This piece features a large serving bowl and the sterling mark. It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition.
