Condition:

The overall condition is fair to good, in consideration of the antique nature of the item. All exterior leather components (handles & over strap) have degraded & have fallen off; portions of leather handles still remain with trunk. Some discoloration to wooden slats and to lacquered leather trim. Light fading throughout monogramed exterior. Minor tarnishing and verdigris to exterior hardware. Some minor residue/discoloration marks scattered throughout lining. Light fraying/splitting to canvas at back of trunk, at hinged portion.
