Accompanied by an original vintage 8 x 5.5" United Press wire press photograph depicting the members of the United States Supreme Court, including Chief Justice Earl Warren, together with the original United Press caption affixed to the reverse.

Earl Warren (1891-1974) served as the 14th Chief Justice of the United States from 1953 to 1969 after being appointed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Under Warren's leadership, the Supreme Court issued many of the most consequential decisions in American history, including Brown v. Board of Education, Gideon v. Wainwright, Miranda v. Arizona, and Loving v. Virginia, fundamentally reshaping constitutional law and civil rights in the United States.
