Earl Warren autographed State of California Governor's stationery sheet measuring approximately 5.25 x 4", signed in blue ink on an official gubernatorial stationery sheet bearing the State of California seal and printed "Governor" designation.
Fine condition with light expected age toning and minor handling wear.
Earl Warren (1891-1974) served as Governor of California from 1943 to 1953 before being appointed Chief Justice of the United States by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. As Chief Justice from 1953 to 1969, he led the Warren Court through a series of landmark decisions, including Brown v. Board of Education, Miranda v. Arizona, and Gideon v. Wainwright, which reshaped American constitutional law and civil rights.
