Description
A good example of an early Chinese porcelain Lotus bowl labeled on base. Possibly from the Sung period (960-1279), Ying Ch'ing Yao whiteware with a translucent glaze. Very good condition, with a simple solid slightly speckled glaze throughout the bowl. There are some minor edge losses, surface imperfections, and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 2.25 H x 6 3/4" diameter rim x 2" diameter base rim or foot.
This bowl is from my personal collection. Ask about other pieces that I may have which are from the same period.
