This hand-painted serving platter was produced by Hartman Studios, a mid-century California pottery studio located in Los Angeles.
These pieces date to the 1940s through the 1950s.Style: It is often referred to as "California Majolica" or "California Pottery". It features the characteristic heavy glaze and relief-like hand-painted floral designs-in this case, a Magnolia blossom-popular during that period.
