Description
This 18th C Mahogany Box started life as a knife box. It was converted in 19th C. to a stationary box. The Georgian box has a distinctive serpentine front and a hinged lid edged in satinwood and king wood. It rests on three bun feet and has an inlaid star inside the lid. Shows signs of use.
