A charming painted folk-art miniature depicting a duckling emerging from a pale blue egg. The duckling features finely feather details, an orange-and-black bill, inset eyes, and partially exposed wings. Incised “HFM” on the underside. Artist presently unidentified. Length: 5.5 in.
