The entire body is covered in soft celadon?powder glaze with even, mellow tone. The glaze layer is thick and lustrous, demonstrating the characteristic jade?like texture of Longquan porcelain. The base foot rim is unglazed, revealing brownish firing?induced iron?red discoloration, while the inner base is fully glazed.
