This specimen is a taxidermy shoulder mount of a white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus). A white plastic loop tag is attached to the base of the right antler, as seen in the fourth photograph, though it contains no legible text. No maker marks, taxidermist stamps, or labels are visible on the mount.
