Rare find. Charming vintage pottery ram, circa 1965. Superb condition with no damage found. Unmarked; residue from a paper label is present on the underside. While the attribution is not certain, this Italian made ceramic piece is likely made by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, and imported to the US by Raymor or Rosenthal Netter. Clay body has stamped/impressed designs. High gloss glaze in gray, tan, and blue. Measures 15 inches long x 7 inches wide x 7.75 inches tall. Please see condition report for more details.

There are some factors from the manufacturing/firing process which should be noted: 3 rough textured areas on the underside; a dark line on the underside (in photo it resembles a crack; it is not a crack); a small hole on the underside measuring 1/8 inch to release heat and steam so the piece did not explode in the kiln during firing. The underside also has residue from a paper label (worn, not legible).
