vintage 1970s Espresso Coffee service set 'Block' by designer Gerald Gulotta for Langenthal Switzerland in Transition White Porcelain.
Modernist Design: a masterpiece of mid-century minimalism with each square plate being elegantly rounded on the corners and having a spare, high-gloss, white glaze to emphasize the beauty of the line.

This large and rare set includes:
5 espressos cups, 5 saucers, 1 creamer, 1 sugar bowl and 1 Coffee pot.

Measures Approximately:
- Coffee espresso Demi cups 2.75" height x 2 1/8" diameter.
- Saucers squared 5"
- Sugar bowl squared 3.5"
- creamer 4" height x 2 1/4" diameter
- coffee pot 8.5" height x 3 1/4" diameter, handle to spout 6".

Each piece is marked on the reverse as shown in the photos: "Block Langenthal Switzerland, Transition White."

Overall this set in excellent condition: barely used, it has no noteworthy issues. Only noticed a tiny skip on the side edge of the spout (seen on pictures).
