1990's Hollis Fingold PostModern Memphis Jewelry Trinket Abstract Box Signed

Fabulous, whimsical Hollis Fingold Iconic Postmodern Memphis Designed Hand painted Trinket or Jewelry Box.

Wild, abstract patterns and colors. A wavy, rubberized, festive decoration angles upward joyfully. Turquoise body with a subtle black splattered background. The top is pink with the same splattered design. and edged with alternating black and pink slanted lines.

The interior is Aqua as well and his trademark interior pillow is yellow with dashes of painted black comets.

The box sits upon 4 orange triangular legs and is hand-signed. in pink. on the bottom.

Fingold's very limited body of work within the past year, has become in high demand by high-end private collectors and art investment firms. Auction houses are now realizing exorbitant prices and sadly, his work will be, financially, out of reach for most, within the next year.

I became interested in his artwork years ago and I am selling pieces I could never afford in today's market.

Every box is unique. I have been a devotee of Memphis and Postmodern design since the 80s. I am selling my personal collection, but acquiring and reselling new pieces, sadly, is fast becoming out of reach.
