Summary:
Chinese Cultural Revolution-era mechanical mantel clock housed in a shaped dark-stained wooden case. The circular dial is decorated with a propaganda scene of revolutionary youths and Red Guards holding flags and books, together with a moving raised-arm element and an additional curved animated pointer. Arabic numerals surround the central image beneath a domed crystal and chrome-tone bezel.

The right panel includes the slogan commonly translated as: ‘Be resolute, fear no sacrifice, surmount every difficulty, and strive for victory.’ The left panel encourages revolutionary comrades to recognize achievements, see the future clearly, and raise their courage.
