Summary:
Chinese Cultural Revolution-era mechanical mantel clock housed in a dark-stained wooden case. The circular dial is decorated with a printed propaganda scene of revolutionary youths and soldiers holding books and banners, with a raised-arm element and curved pointer intended to animate with the clock mechanism.
