Summary:
Exceptional 24" 18th century bronze and gilt brass wall clock with rococo floral and foliate decoration. The case is designed with scrolling acanthus leaves, flower blossoms, shell-form ornament, pierced details, and a central grille. White enamel dial with blue Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute markers, and pierced gilt brass hands. Round movement with two barrels, anchor escapement, simple balance, spring suspension, and striking mechanism on the half-hours. Unsigned.
