* A 1756 Quittance d’Hommage issued in the name of Jean-François Risbé, Conseiller du Roy and receiver for the Bureau des Finances et Domaines of the Généralité de Lille, relating to a fief situated at Lambersart.

* A 1759 receipt headed Droits d’Amortissements & Francs-Fiefs.

* A 1772 receipt or enforcement form concerning amortissements and francs-fiefs.

* A 1772 demi-vingtième property-tax receipt.

* A 1779 capitation receipt issued by the collector for the city of Lille.

* A 1781 demi-vingtième property-tax receipt.

* A 1783 property-tax assessment for a house on Rue Saint-Jacques in the parish of Saint-Étienne.

* A 1788 property-tax assessment concerning the same street and parish.

* An associated handwritten financial memorandum recording amounts in livres and francs.

The terminology appearing in the documents is consistent with established categories of Ancien Régime fiscal administration just before the outbreak of the French Revolution. The BnF catalogs the vingtième as an Ancien Régime tax, while France Archives records amortissements, francs-fiefs, capitation and vingtième material among royal financial records; officers of the bureaux des finances administered matters involving both taxation and the royal domain.
