Latapie was associated with the development of French Cubism and exhibited his Cubist works alongside Jacques Villon beginning in the early 1920s. He was acquainted with Georges Braque and Amédée Ozenfant and exhibited extensively in Paris, including at the Salon des Indépendants, Salon des Tuileries, and Salon d’Automne. His work was also represented at the 1924 Venice Biennale.
