A set of six Russian 84 silver (84% or 0.84 silver) demitasse spoons, circa 1900. The set features three different Russian Imperial period commemorative imagery on the back of the bowl (a pair of each). All six spoons were made in Moscow between 1898 and 1908. Two of the pairs (two spoons showing one image and two showing another) were made by Prokopy Ivanovich Andreyev and one pair by Pyotr Abrosimov. Although created by different makers, all six are nearly identical in form: they are the same shape with very similar ornamentation, the only differences are that the two Abrosimov spoons are 0.25" longer than the Andreyevs and the handle spirals are more elongated.
