Antique non-electric chandelier designed for use with candles. The piece, which resembles the type of chandeliers that were used during the "Colonial Williamsburg" period was acquired over 50 years ago at a sale and has a distressed gun metal patina. The base metal is either Bronze or Copper. Each of the five arms that hold the candles, swivels and rotates in its own "socket" apparently so the candles could be lit and returned to an upright position. Each of the five candleholders are filled with a wax like substance to hold the candle in place.

While the exact age and origin is unknown, the piece is very unique and "one of a kind"!
