Silk fukusa ( gift cloth) featuring cranes and bamboo motifs with subtle full rising moon. Cranes and bamboo are sumi e and sagara embroidery highlights. (The forbidden stitch) The more one studies this textile art, the more one sees! The backing is original to the fukusa and is bright red ( good fortune) with fan design believed to be the family crest or mon.
This pillow is hand closed with down insert.
