Description
Pair of very fine Art Deco ceramic sculptures depicting highly-stylized male and female figures, each holding doves. The gray, deep pink and blue-green glazes are lovely. Could this be Adam and Eve? This rare art deco sculpture pair has been attributed elsewhere to Geza De Vegh for Phoenix Pottery.
They measure 7" wide x 10 1/2" tall, and 2 1/4" deep approx. The glaze has an irregular crackled appearance, although there are no chips, cracks, or repairs on either figure.
