A beautiful covered dish attached to an under tray with a lid decorated with sardines. Traditionally this would be used for sardines to be served but would be terrific for anything! The aqua trim is bright and the gold detail on the fish enhances their design. would blend in well with any collection of Majolica.

Condition Notes: There look to have been 2 repairs to 2 areas of the edge of the box but could only see one hairline crack 1/4" (shown in pic). The other looks like discolored glaze but would be an early repair. There is also a small chip to rim of dish but sealed with glaze.
