Majestic Japanese Byobu screens on offer, depicting an idyllic mountain farm house, set against high mountains and waterfalls. There is tiny detail of a grandpa with his cane, climbing the path to his thatched roof home, nestled amongst the cherry blossom trees.. We have searched and searched, and cannot find a replica of this scene, it is truly unique. Signed by artist, can fold for shipment and/or storage. Most likely dating from the early 1940's.
