This assortment consists of eight molded glass door knobs featuring an octagonal faceted design, a style prevalent in early 20th-century American architecture. The glass components are clear with a fluted pattern radiating from a central starburst motif. The lot includes two complete pairs mounted on square steel spindles, one single knob on a spindle, and three individual knobs, one with an attached brass collar and two without. The hardware is constructed from brass and steel. Several knobs have handwritten characters in dark marker on their exterior faces, including the number 5 (photo 3) and characters that appear to read No 27 (photo 4). These markings appear to be price or inventory notations and do not represent manufacturer marks. No factory stamps, labels, or maker's marks are identifiable on the glass or the metal hardware.
