Provenance and Authentication:
According to the Letter of Authenticity (LOA) and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided by the consignor, this collectible was subjected to a forensic examination. The accompanying documentation states that the signatures were evaluated with reference to multiple characteristics, including ink deposition, material and aging characteristics, stylistic consistency, and historical context. Based on the examination described in these documents, the authentication provider concluded that the findings were consistent with the attributed signatures. The LOA and COA provided by the consignor accompany the lot.

A Frank Lloyd Wright: An Autobiography book by Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959), published by Duell, Sloan and Pearce, New York, bearing Wright's handwritten signature on the title page together with the notation "52."

An Autobiography occupies a particularly important position within Wright's published writings. Through the volume, the architect reflects upon his family, fellowship, architectural practice, personal development, and ideas concerning freedom and form, providing a deeply personal counterpart to his celebrated architectural career.

The autograph is unusually integrated into the graphic design of the title page, appearing within the small red square at lower right. The red-square motif has a particularly strong visual association with Wright and his personal design vocabulary, making the placement especially appropriate. The accompanying "52" notation appears consistent with a dated inscription referring to 1952.

The visible handwriting is compact, adapted to the restricted dimensions of the red field.
