Description
Very Distinctive Design on this pair of WWI Trench Art artillery shells. Not certain what the artist was going for, but Art Deco/Brutalist certainly comes to mind. Have not been able to find similar Designs on any other shells from this period. The wide spectrum of tarnished coloration on the brass is truly exceptional. These deserve to be prominently displayed.
