A stunning vibrantly coloured vintage wool rug tapestry (hooked wool) by Venezuelan artist Tere.

Tere, short for Teresa (Gonzalez) was a Guajiro (Wayuu) indian, who had a celebrated workshop located in Laguna del Pajaro, Estado Zulia, Venezuela (near Maracaibo). The Guajiros (Wayuu) are a people of northwestern Venezuela and northeastern Colombia. Tere passed away in 2017.

This tapestry is in excellent condition and is signed by the artist.
