Antique Sevres Style Yellow Porcelain Sea Shell Urn

Description

A very rare antique yellow porcelain urn attributed to French sevres. Having exquisite sea shell and beaded porcelain decoration with glazed porcelain accented with gilt gold. Exaggerated applied 18th century style applied handles with its original matching cover. Provenance: New York Long Island gold coast estate.

Condition Notes: Good condition with no restorations. Small chips under the lid not noticeable when the lid cover is on the urn. The finial on the cover of the lid has been modified with bronze insert ( see photos).
