This piece was made from a single block of walnut and finished with beautiful hand-carved patterns. The rim gives the impression of delicate wooden petals. It is large (17.5" tall) heavy (18 lbs) and has an incredible presence- people will notice it and start conversations wherever it is placed. While I believe this was originally intended to be an urn or holder for a smaller urn, it would also make for a beautiful planter, vase, bannister, or simply a beautiful decorative object.
