This unusual short warp Chinese rug has a field pattern of horizontal stripes with particular emphasis on dark blue.These lines pass under the fretwork corners,giving a 3-dimensional effect.The blue lines also intersect with the plain blue border,anchoring the pattern.The whole effect is visually intriguing and ambiguous.The rectangular size is quite uncommon.
