Beautiful impressionistic watercolor of lush foliage at the water's edge by Emma Lou Redwine (American, 1879-1968). Signed lower left. Presented in an Vintage gold wood frame and Vintage glass. Glass has a couple of flaws as is typical of Vintage glass. Some foxing in the upper, left sky. Image, 7.25"H x 8"W. The artist was born in Germany on Dec. 18, 1879. The Luehrmann family moved to California in 1883. Emma later married a man named Redwine and settled in Ukiah, CA in 1908. She died there on May 8, 1968. Her work includes landscapes of the area near her home.
