Here we have a rare pair of antique French Louis XV carved double cane tub chairs. Extraordinarily beautiful, the carving is fabulous. I find no flaws in the caning.

These chairs are old, sold AS FOUND with the flowing imperfections:
1) The original method of hand weaving the cane has been altered to accept sheets of pre-woven cane installed with spline.
2) One chair has a couple of newer looking wood blocks added to the underside. They aren't structural, I have no idea what they're for.
3) There are no seat cushions.
4) A few places where the arm seams are no longer perfectly aligned. Please examine the photos carefully and feel free to ask questions.

The joints are tight and the chairs are sturdy. Still gorgeous after all these years... thanks for looking!!!
