Description
The oil on canvas is signed, L. Jesberger, lower right, has an amazing noir feel to it. The moored tugboat and Silhouette figure in the foreground are juxtaposed with the highly illuminated background of the city with the full moon above. The rough East River waters glisten with mist rising off of it.
A large piece that measures 49" wide x 44" high. The framing treatment consists of a green painted weathered wood frame. The canvas is set back in the frame and is not flush mounted. Overall dimensions with frame are 49.75" wide x 45.5" high x 3.5" deep. A slight torque in the frame.
