Description
This charming pair of arm chairs came from an estate in Southern Virginia. The mid-century interpretation of classic fauteuils is clean, simple, and elegant. The caned backs are in excellent condition. The cabriole legs end in simple pad feet. The sound and sturdy frames have been lacquered in white, and the seats have been rebuilt by our master upholsterer. The seats have been re-covered in a navy blue, tightly cropped chenille. There are few signs of wear despite a half century of use.
The chairs are 33.5 inches high at the crest, and the seats are 18 inches high from the floor. The chairs are 23 inches wide and 18 inches deep.
