Antique fine art pencil sketch, seaside town of Mentone, France. Attributed to Frederic Houbron 1851-1908. This piece is unsigned, although in appearance is almost identical to some of his signed pieces of the same seaside location. Although Houbron sometimes signed his work using only H, many of his pieces are unsigned. The scene includes the seaside houses, sailboat, fishermen and mountains. The sketch is matted, the H may or may not be under the mat. Framed with mat and glass. Frame is gold tone gild with bits of black showing through. Measures approx 12 in wide by 11 in high framed.
